The Havenites, a new band located out of Prescott Valley, Arizona, just recorded their debut album and CD release entitled Sultry..Sexy..Smooth in the beginning of 2009. Strong melodies and vocal harmonies over impressive electric guitar and percussion instrumentals drive this debut album. Sultry..Sexy..Smooth is a compilation of five songs with rock, grunge, contemporary and alternative contaminations.
The Havenites successive album, Spearmint, is a twelve song delectable dish of sonorous sounds that takes you from the slow motion buildup of the hit song Beautiful Soul to the melodic rhythms of Trouble it Comes and euphoric claims of When You're Gone. Chris Buskirk belts out echoey and metaphoric lyrics in time with the beats of Paul Bucchi on drums and the instrumentals of Adam Davenport on bass and Andy Schinander on lead guitar.
