GUNPOWDER AND LEAD is a band name that says it all. We will play songs you will not forget, spicing it up on the gunpowder side with cover songs from artists such as Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Kellie Pickler and Jason Aldean. We then take it easy on the lead side with artists such as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and Waylon Jennings.
Our band is full of energy and PLAYS mostly new and modern country music. We focus on songs that will get you moving, wanting to get up on the dance floor. We have the the best musicians around . . . the talent is absolutely amazing. And the most amazing part of our band is that we haven't been together but just a few short months and we just fit!
KELLI BARR
Fronts the band with her amazing vocals. She has been raised all over the world, places such as Oklahoma, Tennessee and even overseas and being from the south, she has that twang when she sings. She has a crisp voice that will send chills down your spine! She also plays the rythme guitar.
SETH GIBSON
Is our phenominal lead guitarist. He took second place in a National Blues Guitar contest. We are very lucky to have found such an amazing guitarist. He can rip out a solo like nothing one could ever imagine.
BILL EDWARDS
Is our drummer and wow can he keep a beat! He has a major in music and has played in various jazz bands and symphonies over the years. Hey, we "shoot" for the best and Bill is it!
CODY GIBSON
Is our bass player and vocalist that fills in for us. He has been in various bands over the years, including one that is playing for the Toby Keith/Trace Adkins concert in August. We are very fortunate to have snagged this guy and we hope to keep him for the long hall.
